All tax returns must be post marked by midnight on Monday, April 15th.
Leading up to the deadline the post office on Converse Avenue in Cheyenne was slammed, hundreds of people trudging through the snow and ice to get their flats in the mail on time. One postal worker said Monday was busier than most holidays.
The post office closed at its normal time but folks can still drop off tax returns at the outdoor drop box. The Converse location is the only one that will post mark tax returns through midnight.
