Construction on the round-about at Pershing and Converse was delayed again on Tuesday. Lingering snowfall and snow on the roads forced contractors to push the start date back another day. The main concern is for the traveling public and safety of the contractors and their workers.
Construction was supposed to start on April 15th. Scott Smith, Project Information Officer for the city of Cheyenne, said that there is a possibility that construction crews may have to work at least some Saturday's over the summer to make up for some of these lost days.
The project is scheduled to be finished by the end of November or December of this year. Landscaping will be done in the Spring of 2014.
