Peak adoption season is beginning and the Cheyenne Animal Shelter needs your help. The shelter is asking for anyone over the age of 18 to help with their foster program for kittens.
The shelter tends to see an overwhelming amount of them this time of year and because they can't spay or neuter kittens until they have reached two pounds they need people to foster them temporarily.
The commitment is usually between four to six weeks or until the kitten reaches eight pounds. All supplies, food, litter and medications are provided by the shelter.
For more information on how to become a foster parent visit the shelter or give them a call.
The phone number is (307) 632-6655.
