Cheyenne area law enforcement agencies hosted the second annual Wyoming Fallen Peace Officer's Memorial Saturday afternoon.
One by one, all 67 names of those who have lost their lives in the line of duty in Wyoming were read to those in attendance.
Members of law enforcement and military marched their way through the rain from the Capitol steps to the Depot to pay their respects to those that we've lost and those that put their life on the line everyday in their line of duty.
"It just seems to be more and more violence today and as law enforcement we strap on the gun belt and pin on the badge everyday and go out there and sometimes we don't know what's going to happen. The biggest wish that I have as an administrator and I think all of us, as you see here celebrating the day, is that everybody in uniform can go home at the end of the day and be with their families," said Danny Glick, Laramie County Sheriff.
