County Fire District #2 covers approximately 1100 square miles of Laramie
County's northern area
District #2 is 100 % volunteer (Fire Chief is only paid member) and currently
has approximately 70 Firefighters that respond out of three Fire Stations
(Station 1-North College Drive; Station
2-Yellowstone Road & Station 3-Town of Horse Creek)
for people who want to provide emergency services to their community and help
people during probably the worst times of their lives.
respond to all types of emergency calls including fires – (structural, wildland
& vehicle); motor vehicle accidents; medical emergencies, and hazardous
equipment & training is provided by Fire District #2, all we ask is a
desire, dedication and time commitment to provide to the District.
Academy starts October 2nd and will be on Monday & Wednesday
nights from 6-10:00 PM (with an occasional Saturday) for approximately 8 weeks.
people can also stop at Station 1 or 2 on Wednesday evenings about 6:00 PM and
talk to the Station Officer and get a station tour and meet other Firefighters.
