    CURRENT WEATHER CONDITIONS

    Southeast Wyoming           Nebraska Panhandle

    Detailed Forecast

Forecast:

A wonderful day for this start to our holiday weekend! We saw a chilly morning with lows dropping into the mid to upper 30s. Winds have been light and the skies have been blue and clear!

Tonight: Quiet weather will continue for our Friday night! We lucked out for Friday Night Lights and weather will be perfect for football! Skies will be clear. Lows will be in the upper 40s. Winds will be out of the east around 5-15 MPH.

Saturday: More clear skies and nice weather for the University of Wyoming Football game. Temperatures will be above average and warm. Highs will hit the mid to upper 80s. By kick off expect temperatures in the low 70s and upper 60s. Do bring a jacket as the game comes to an end we will see temperatures in the upper 50s! Skies will remain clear for the evening. Lows will drop into the upper 40s. Winds will become quite breezy for the weekend as a cold front approaches. Winds will be out of the west northwest around 15-20 mph gusting to 30 mph. Gusty winds and dry conditions will elevate fire danger. A fire weather watch will go into effect from 11 AM tomorrow through 8 PM.

Sunday: Another dry and breezy day. Winds will still be between 15-20 MPH. This will again keep fire danger on the high side. Mostly sunny skies will keep temperatures warm and in the low to mid 80s. Overnight, calling for lows to reach the upper 40s and low 50s.

Labor Day: A cold front has moved in late Sunday night which will really only cool temperatures off. Left the forecast dry for the holiday. Winds will still be breezy as the cold front continue to exit the region. Temperatures will cool into the upper 60s and low 70s. Expect lows to drop into the upper 30s for another chilly night and early Tuesday morning.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies with another disturbance moving through the area. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s. Lows overnight will fall to the low to mid 40s.

Wednesday: Next disturbance arrives and allows for chances of showers and thunderstorms to enter into the afternoon forecast. Skies will be partly cloudy. Highs will be in the upper and mid 70s. Lows will reach the upper and mid 40s.

Thursday-Friday: Left only very slight chances of showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. Highs will be in the upper 70s and low 80s. Overnight lows will reach the upper and mid 40s.
