Cheyenne Flood of 1985 30th Anniversary

Updated: 07/31/2015 - Saturday, August 1st 2015 is the 30th anniversary of the Cheyenne Flood of 1985. Flash flooding turned Dry Creek into a raging river, trapping people in their basements and cars. 12 people lost their lives during the devastating storm and 70 people were injured. The storm caused an estimated $65 million dollars worth of damage, making it one of the costliest disasters in Wyoming history.
