11 House bills pass the State Legislature

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (KGWN)- 11 more House Bills are being added to the Governor’s consideration list after passing the Senate on Monday March 5.

Bills on the consent list that passed were:
HB2 Election code violations – a bill changing penalties for people who commit voter fraud, making a graduating scale
HB3 Country clerk map recording feel – conforming amendments
HB04 Investment of state funds-amendments – a bill clarifying conditions on investments or permanent and pool A funds.
HB9 Obsolete reporting for the department of workforce services
HB21 State parks designations – adding Quebec 1, Camp Douglas and LX Bar Ranch
HB22 Quebec 1 missile alert facility fees – a bill turning the facility north of Cheyenne into a tourist site. Setting the business model with hopes of making the location self-sufficient after the initial investment.
HB 58 Game animal licenses – getting rid of limitations on the amount of licenses for mountain goats and bears
HB110 Wyoming retirement plans, member accounts
HB126 Limited liability companies-series
HJ8 150th Anniversary of the 1868 Treaty of Fort Bridger

Nearly all bills on this consent list besides the state parks updates and the Quebec 1 tourist site gained unanimous support on the third vote. Those bills saw 8 Senators vote against them passing a final reading.

One bill that would address the use of Blockchain technology for corporations was also pushed back for a second time on Monday. HB70 is expected to be placed on 3rd reading again on Tuesday March 6 along with 14 other bills that passed a second reading in the Senate on Monday.
