Cheyenne, Wyo. (KGWN) - George Dennehy has traveled around the world inspiring people with his story. Today, he spoke at Cheyenne' Back-A-Kid Breakfast.
There is one message that George hopes everyone takes away. That is, "No matter where you are, where you come from, what you’re born with or without, that shouldn’t stop you from chasing after your goals and dreams.”
George was born without arms. After almost dying in a Romanian orphanage, he was adopted by a US family. He knew he had apparent challenges. He rose above them, playing music with his feet and refusing to stop perfecting his skills.
After posting a video in 2012 that gained worldwide attention, the Goo Goo Dolls invited George to share the stage with them.
Now he has performed with many national acts and has touched people everywhere in the process. Though George has reached musical success, he feels that his biggest success is helping those he meets.
