CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- After AARP released its “Across the States” report, AARP Wyoming is working to help the state manage potential budget concerns. According to the report, Wyoming is aging faster than other states which may present a rise in costs down the line.
Sam Shumway, AARP Wyoming State Director, said “Wyoming is one of the fastest aging states in the country. And with that, comes some challenges. Some financial challenges and some human challenges that we know are kind of on the horizon.”
AARP Wyoming is pursuing sponsor asks to be able submit a bill to the Legislature.
