Brian Hill bumped up to Falcons 53-man roster

Cheyenne, Wyo.- Former Wyoming running back Brian Hill was moved from the Atlanta Falcons practice squad to the teams 53-man roster on Tuesday.

The change comes after Falcons starting running back Devonta Freeman suffered a knee injury in the teams 18-12 loss to the Eagles in Week 1.

The Falcons drafted Hill in April 2017, taking the former Wyoming running back in the 5th round.

Hill bounced around from there: Hill was cut from the practice squad and the Cincinnati Bengals picked him up.

From there, Falcons renewed their relationship with Hill and brought him back on to the practice squad in 2018.

Even if Devonta Freeman is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, Falcons have running back Tevin Coleman as back up. Hill could see time on Sunday but he won't get the start.
