Cheyenne, Wyo. (KGWN) - UPDATE 10:20PM One of the victim's daughters reached out to CBS NewsChannel 5 to inform the community her father, Gregory Gilbert, is in critical but stable condition. Gilbert is able to communicate and his family is asking for prayers.
The suspect in a Cheyenne shooting and one of his three victims are dead. The condition of one of the victims is unknown. The shooter has been identified as 77-year-old Larry Rosenberg, a resident of Heritage Court Apartments on Gregg Way where the shooting took place.
The incident started at 11AM. Police responded to 3912 Gregg Way off of college drive on the report of an active shooter. Rosenberg had allegedly shot two people outside the apartment complex and one person inside.
Rosenberg then fled to the area of Hot Springs Ave. and Chestnut Dr. where police say he shot and killed himself. Officers did not fire any shots. Rosenburg was in possession of a handgun and rifle. It's unclear at this time if both guns were used in the shooting.
After being closed for about an hour, North College Drive near Gregg Way has now reopened.
Cheyenne schools were placed on lockdown as a precaution, but that lockdown was lifted a little after noon.

The Cheyenne Police released the following at about 6PM:
The Cheyenne Police Department responded to the Heritage Court Apartments, 3912 Gregg Way, at about 11 a.m. today after receiving a report of a shooting.
Larry Rosenberg, 77, of Cheyenne, shot three men at the Heritage Court Apartments before fleeing the scene and killing himself.
Officers arrived on the scene and found one man dead and two other men with gunshot wounds. Officers searched the apartment building and determined Rosenberg had left the area. The two wounded men were transported to the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, their current condition is unknown. The names of the victims are being withheld until next of kin have been notified.
A description of the suspect was given by witnesses, which aided officers in locating Rosenberg at Hot Springs Avenue and Chestnut Drive. When officers approached Rosenberg, he shot himself with a handgun.
This case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
