CHEYENNE, Wyo - Many people celebrate Super Bowl Sunday as a holiday, cheering on a team, drinking with friends and having a cook-out or pot luck but how do you arrive to your destination safely?
Local law enforcement will be enforcing the DUI task force to keep roads safe. Last year there were five DUI arrests and law enforcement wants that number to decline.
Some thoughts to keep in mind while attending a Super Bowl party is designate a sober driver, if you are going to a bar ask the bartender if they participate in the Safe Ride program or see if you can stay the night at the house you are at.
During the game make sure food is part of your planning, eat before drinking, be aware of the number of drinks you consume during the game and don't over serve yourself.
If you do decide to risk driving while intoxicated you could face a fine of up to $10,000 and jail time of up to 20 years.
