Events to finish off summer at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens

CHEYENNE, Wyo - Even though the first frost is around the corner that's not stopping the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens from hosting events to finish enjoying the last bit of summer.

Thursday the 13th ArtWalk is continuing from 5:00pm to 8:00pm featuring art from Vanda Edington and Barbara Wolf and artists from a weekend class.

The Gardens have partnered with the Cheyenne Symphony to bring musical story time back to the Children's Village. The book this year is Mr. Pusskins and will have an instrument petting zoo along with it. This will happen Saturday the 15th.

Then on Sunday, September 16th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, the Gardens are hosting a Crevice Garden Lecture with a famous crevice garden expert from the Czech Republic.

To finish off summer on Friday, September 21 at 7:00pm a film about Rock Climbing will premiere it's called Reel Rock 12 tickets are just $10 you can purchase them online.

The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens is also looking for volunteers to help the front desk on the weekends, as well as additional volunteers for outdoor horticulture work.
