Fumes force evacuation at First National Tower in Omaha

Authorities evacuated the First National Tower in downtown Omaha after fumes began spreading through the building Thursday morning.

Officials say a descaling solution was being used in the humidifier system and the fumes apparently spread. People began complaining of ill effects.

Some are being treated at the scene. Six to eight people have been taken to the hospital after complaining of breathing problems.
