CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- City Council voted to fund finishing the second floor of the new Municipal Courthouse.
There were five "yes" votes and four "no" votes.
Council also decided to move forward with applying for a grant throught the State Loan and Investment Board. The funding approved by City Council for the project will only cover a portion. The hope is that the grant will cover the rest.
Ward III City Councilman Rocky Case said, "We're knocking this building down. We're moving forward with something, and at this late date not knowing what is slightly concerning."
Though there have been ideas on how to build out the second floor of the courthouse, those have not been decided upon for sure.
