Give a pint, Get a pint begins today

CHEYENNE, Wyo - Vitalant is encouraging existing and prospective blood donors to resolve to be part of something bigger than themselves in the new year and make an impact on others’ lives through blood donation.

As a special thank you, all during National Blood Donor Month in January, Vitalant is again partnering with the CraftWorksFoundation on the “Give a Pint, Get a Pint” promotion.

Starting Tuesday, Jan. 1 through Thursday, Jan. 31, everyone who comes in to donate blood at a Vitalant donation center in Colorado and Wyoming or a mobile blood drive in the area will receive a voucher for a free Draft House pint of beer or soda (good for redemptionstarting the following day) at any of the following locations:

Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery

Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant

Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom

For the New Year holiday Vitalant in Cheyenne off 112 E. Eighth Ave. will operate from 9am until 3pm.

January is designated as National Blood Donor Month because while patient blood use remains steady or can even rise during the winter months, inclement weather conditions and colds and flu can keep donors from making their regular donations.

Give a Pint, Get a Pint is generously sponsored by the CraftWorks Foundation, the charitable arm of CraftWorks Restaurants& Breweries dedicated to serving their team members and crafting the communities where their restaurants operate.
