CHEYENNE, Wyo. (KGWN) February is Heart Health Month and this week around Cheyenne there are a lot of health related courses and even a fundraiser to participate in.

On Monday, Feb. 11 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Health Solutions Chiropractic will be a “Working Out to Increase Oxygen-MaxT3 Surge Training” class. Attendees will learn about how surge training and metabolic conditioning helps your body combat diseases and keeps you healthy. The address is 1330 Ridge Rd.
Wednesday, Feb. 13 at the Country Doctor Nutritional Center there will be a free Women’s Natural Health Class about gut health. The focus will be on New Year’s resolutions, long term healthy lifestyles, and starts at 6:30 p.m. The address is 1801 Logan Ave.
On Friday, Feb. 15 LCCC is hosting a CPR/Basic First Aid course at 9 a.m. Attendees will gain the knowledge and skills that could help save a life and learn the basics of first aid, the most common life-threatening emergencies, how to recognize them, and how to help. They will also learn how to recognize when someone needs CPR and how to give CPR. The cost is $80, call Darlene Kaelin at 307-778-4381 to register or to learn about customized training options.
Saturday, Feb. 16 from noon to 4 p.m. will be a Cupid’s Undie Run to raise money for Neurofibromatosis which is a disorder that affects 1 in every 3,000 children born. The run is a brief, pun intended, party and fun run that is about a mile long. You can run solo or start a team and even dress up in costumes. You can purchase tickets and register at my.cupids.org and the event will start in the upstairs of the Asher building which is located at 500 West 15th St.
