United Way of Laramie County Emerging Leaders hosts costume drive

CHEYENNE, Wyo - It's a hard truth that many families can't afford costumes for their kids around Halloween. For the 3rd year in a row United Way of Laramie County Emerging Leaders is collecting costumes for those in need.

This year they have a goal to donate 500 costumes, they work with partners at Family Promise, CASA of Laramie County, the Boys & Girls Club and two local schools. The partners have tags for kids requesting specific costumes this year.

If you are just wanting to donate a gently used or new costume there are donation bins throughout the community. Bins are located at Jonah Bank, both A & B Banks, Chamber of commerce, United Way of Laramie County and the County Clerks Office.

Emerging leaders will be picking up costumes on Monday, October 15 to distribute to families at Needs Inc. on October 20 from 1pm -3pm
