LARAMIE COUNTY, Wyo. (RELEASE) - According to the Laramie County Sheriff's' Office, people in Laramie County have been receiving phone calls from someone claiming to be Lieutenant Webster, Captain Sorenson or someone else with the Laramie County Sheriff's Office. They are told they have warrants for their arrest, usually for something like failure to show up for jury duty. The scammer(s) request the victim purchase multiple Green Dot or Steam cards and to give them the numbers as bond payment.
