CHEYENNE, Wyo- In our weekly series with the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, marketing coordinator Tiffany Logan introduces us to Kito.
Kito is looking for a home to retire in. The Ten-year-old Pomeranian-mix is, like, your typical old man. He likes to eat and sleep. He likes to go on walks if it's on his terms. He's pretty calm so he's looking for a home with no small children.
The shelter has also had a few unique finds of dogs, Kennie, an English mastiff, came to the shelter after someone called animal control and said there was a dog tied to a tree. Animal Control found her and a sign saying: "FREE English Mastiff, 3-years-old, fixed. I can't take care of her anymore. Take care of her please. Her name is Kennie. She is good with kids and other dogs."
The other is Cleopatra a Pitbull, she came into the shelter starving and with a caribener and chain piercing through her neck. Vet staff fixed her up, and she is doing better. Animal Control is still investigating the case, and is looking for information as to a suspect.
