New Year's Eve in Downtown Cheyenne

CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- Even though it was cold and windy outside, inside the depot there were plenty of activities going on. Different cheyenne organizations put together games for kids to win prizes.

Most of them featured spinning a wheel. Different princesses and other characters made some appearances as well. Events at the Depot were originally supposed to wrap-up around 6pm, but they did end early because of the weather.

The Plains Hotel across the street invited people to come and celebrate the start of 2019. At 9pm doors will open. There will be plenty of dancing as a live band will be playing, and the hotel restaurant will be open until midnight.

Tickets are $10 a person, which includes two free drinks.
