CHEYENNE, Wyo. (KGWN) The 5th annual Rally for Women and Elimination of Violence Against Women and Children took place in front of the Supreme Court building on March 9. The event included multiple guest speakers, a choir performance, and information was given out about where to turn if you or someone you know is a victim.

Members from Peak Wellness Center explained they have a sliding fee scale that include $2 group therapy sessions and $4 individual therapy sessions and hope that any victim or survivor knows they are welcome.

“Because of the finances or because part of their domestic violence stems from finances they don’t have anywhere to go,” said Trena Allen, Executive Assistant/Marketing Coordinator at Peak Wellness Center. “We want to make sure that we don’t turn away anybody because of the inability to pay.”
