Red Cross holding public information meetings in Cheyenne

Cheyenne, Wyo. - The American Red Cross of Wyoming is holding regular meetings open to the public, where interested individuals and organizations can connect with staff and volunteers and learn how they can join with the Red Cross to make Wyoming a safer state.

The next Disaster Hour meeting will be Tuesday, December 5 from 6-7 PM at the Sage Room of the Laramie County Library, 2200 Pioneer Ave.. The one after that will be on Tuesday, January 9 at the same place and the same time. After that, they will occur on the first Tuesday of every month (always from 6-7 PM).

Meetings will cover the work of the Red Cross throughout the state, including preparedness initiatives, disaster response, and upcoming training and volunteer opportunities.
