Cheyenne, Wyo. - Although this is primarily a budget session, the words "In God We Trust" are sparking some debate on where it should be required to be displayed.

House Bill 133 would require all public schools to display "In God We Trust" in each class room. As well as public buildings, libraries, and the Capitol.

"We need to memorialize our national motto," Rep. Cheri Steinmetz says. "And keep it in front of our public buildings and our students and our citizens of this great nation to remember our national history."

Although the bill is being brought back to the house to be discussed again, nearly one third of the house voted in opposition, saying the government would be interfering

The bill was introduced by the house, discussed by a committee, and will now be discussed by the house again to decide whether or not it will be moving on the the senate.
