Seven members of the Black 14 to participate in University of Wyoming's Black History Month celebration

LARAMIE, Wyo.- The Black 14 will visit the University of Wyoming on Friday, February 8th, to celebrate Black History Month.

14 members of the Wyoming 1969 football team, were cut for wanting to wear black arm bands, against BYU to protest the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints' for preventing black men, to join their priesthood.

Black 14 members will receive a lifetime achievement award from the schools' African American and Diaspora studies program.
