Laramie, Wyo. (KGWN) - Some parents are worried about their children being bullied at school.
Gerard Bobar, a Laramie resident, says, "My daughter has been in schools in six states. This is the first time that she’s ever been bullied to this extent."
His fiancé explains, "Emily called me from school and she was in tears saying two girls were bullying her again."
Emily's parents said that she was called vicious names by other girls at Laramie High School. They also said that they reached out for help to no avail.
Bobar says, "The administration is also the bullies, the way I look at it. They didn’t care about my daughter being bullied."
The district, however, explains that they do care about every single student.
Scott James, of Albany County School District #1, states, "We take parent concerns and student concerns very seriously."
The district went on to say that they work hard to take action, but Emily's parents would like to see more strict bullying laws.
