LARAMIE, Wyo.- The Laramie Colts will no longer be a part of the Rocky Mountain Baseball League, after 13 seasons, with the organization.

The move was made by owners, Nicko and Kent Kleppinger, with the concern of the direction the league was heading in, and the increase in travel. A notable player from the Colts, is Oakland Athletics' pitcher Blake Treinen.

In 2007, the Colts went 30-12, and won the regular season title. In 2008, they went 36-15 sweeping both titles. The Colts won the MCBL tournament in 2009, with a 26-23 record.

In the Colts' 13 seasons, they've had 10 coaches, and an overall record of 283-242.
