CHEYENNE, Wyo. The Board of Public Utilities responded to a water main break on Dell Range this morning. The call came in around 5am. Crews arrived to assess the situation shortly after.
The BOPU said it usually takes about eight hours for breaks to be fixed and that residents will most likely be without water until the problem is solved. Dena Egenhoff, Water Conservation and Public Relations with the Board of Public Utilities attributes credit to the crews and said, “They get muddy. They get wet. They get cold. But they are always there for us. We always call them the soldiers in the background. You usually don’t see our water crews, but when you do we’re there to help immediately.”
