Wearing Red on Fridays to Support the Troops

CHEYENNE, Wy.-- The Board of Public Utilities is remembering deployed troops. R.E.D stands for Remembering Everyone Deployed and they are looking to have more members of the community to step in and join them. The campaign asks people to wear red on Fridays to remember those who are not able to be at home.

One of the employees at the Board of Public Utilities, Lori Janas, started trying to raise awareness. Her son is currently deployed in Afghanistan. There is no intended timeline to stop wearing red on Fridays, simply put, they will wear red until the troops are home safely.
