Wyoming's run game back in time for Broncos stingy defense

Laramie, Wyo. - Wyoming opens up Mountain West conference play on Saturday as the Cowboys host Boise State at 5 p.m. at War Memorial Stadium.

Senior tight end Austin Fort is back on the Cowboys depth chart, and senior running back Nico Evans plans to start in Saturday's game.

Wyoming's head coach Craig Bohl says Cowboys offense needs to be two-dimensional in order to compete, and win, against Broncos stingy defense.

Something that Wyoming wouldn't have been able to do two weeks ago.

"We went into the last game with one running back, one!" said Bohl.

He continued, "And there were a couple of converted guys that were just trying to run out there on Thursday to work on a few things for protection. We're in a completely different place and having Nico [Evans] back and having Jevon [Bigelow] back is certainly going to help and hopefully we'll be balanced."
