Cowboys Cross Country Places 12th in National Championships

MADISON, Wi.- The Cowboys placed 12th in the NCAA Division 1 Championships.

Junior, Paul Roberts, placed 20 out of 252 in the men's 10k with a time of 29:41.36, earning All-American honors. This was the fastest time by runner from the University of Wyoming in the National Championships since 1979 (Geir Kvernmo, 29:35).

Roberts is also Wyoming's ninth cross country All-American. The last one was Mark Korir, who placed 19th in 2007.

Roberts' teammate, Christopher Henry, received the NCAA Elite 90 award after the meet.
