Cowboys are Idaho Potato Bowl bound

Laramie, Wyo. - The wait is finally over. We now know where the cowboys are headed for their bowl game. Several destinations were in the mix this year. Some of them were the New Mexico Bowl in Albuquerque, the Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, and the Arizona Bowl in Tucson. The cowboys for the second straight season earned their bid and this year they head to the Idaho Potato Bowl. Here is University of Wyoming's Athletic Director Tom Burman's reaction to the selection.

The game will be played on Friday, December 22 and will kick off at 2:00 PM. The cowboys will meet up with Central Michigan from the Mid-American Conference. Wyoming will enter the game at 7-5 overall and a 5-3 in the Mountain West. Central Michigan is 8-4 on the season and 6-2 in their conference.

Fans are encouraged to order their tickets by this Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 5 PM to get the best seats available. All fans who purchase through the UW Athletics Ticket Office will receive a discount to the Cowboy Joe Club tailgate prior to the game.
