Laramie, Wyo. - Wyoming senior guard, Justin James, and junior Jake Hendricks scored a combined 53 points against Denver on Tuesday night, but fell to the Pioneers in overtime 90-87.

Hendricks led the team with 27 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field, while James (26 points) only drained one three pointer (1-4).

In the first half, Denver out-rebounded Wyoming 21-8, and finished the game with 44 rebounds to Cowboys 23 rebounds.

Wyoming had plenty of defensive momentum coming into the game, having held South Carolina to just 33 percent shooting from the field last Tuesday.

But Denver was able to push past the Cowboys on 50 percent shooting from the field on Tuesday night.

With the loss, Wyoming drops to 3-7 on the season.
