Cowgirls bench scores 19 points in Wyoming's 77-70 win over SDSU

Laramie, Wyo. - Wyoming took down South Dakota State University 77-70 on Thursday night in Arena Auditorium.

Cowgirls bench produced 19 points, while the team held SDSU to 25 percent shooting from the field in the second quarter.

Veteran and Wyoming senior, Marta Gomez, led the team with 20 points on 6-of-13 shooting from the field and drained 44 percent of her three-pointers.

Wyoming finished the night on 46.2 percent shooting from the field to secure its fourth-straight win in Arena Auditorium. Cowgirls improve to 7-2 with the win over SDSU.

Cowgirls will now travel to Idaho to face Boise State in its first conference game of the season on January 2nd.
