Cheyenne, Wy- On Sunday former Wyoming Quarterback Josh Allen started for the Bills against the Chargers. Although Allen got sacked several times he did get his first career touchdown pass. Buffalo would end up falling to Los Angeles 31-20.

The Bills took to Twitter during post game interviews and Head Coach Sean McDermott had some great things to say about the young quarterback. "I thought Josh Allen had some really solid moments today. Like everyone, I'm sure there are plays he would want back but there is a lot to learn."

McDermott went on to say, " I loved seeing Allen pump up the defense. That's what a leader does. It's impressive when it comes from a young player."

Allen took the podium as well saying "Football is an emotional game. I wanted the defense to know I was with them and they went out and turned up the intensity."

Up next the Bills will meet up with the Vikings on September 23. That game is set for 11 am.
