CHEYENNE, Wyo.- Golden Eagles soccer players, Taylor Stoeger, and Katie Loken sign to continue to play soccer. Stoeger committed to the University of Montana, and Loken committed to Texas A&M Commerce.

Stoeger, who played forward for the LCCC women's soccer team, says she's excited to head into a higher leveled program.

"It's going to be a higher level, and higher competition," Stoeger said. "I'm excited to push myself, and see what I can do."

Loken, who played center back for the Golden Eagles, feels that her time at LCCC prepared her for her next adventure.

"Gardner [Head Coach] does a great job with running this program here," Loken said. "So I think I feel prepared, I would say."

Head coach, Jim Gardner says he's proud of his girls, and also gave them praise on the type of players they are.

"I think the schools that are getting them, are getting two dynamite kids," Gardner said.

This upcoming season will be Gardner's last, as head coach.
