GILLETTE, NE.- Laramie wins back to back swim state championships. The Plainsmen scored a total of 257 team points, which is 71 more than the next team. In 4th place, East finished with 145 points. South placed in 6rh with 122 points, and Central placed 7th, with 121 points.
Max DeYoung finished in first place in the boys 200 yard IM with a time of 1:55.64. East high's Walker Marshall finished in third place with a time of 2:03.21, and South high's Nathan Fawcett finished in sixth place with a time of 2:07.44.
In the boys 1-meter diving event, Laramie's Chris Bury, placed first with a score of 430.10. Julian Yates from East high finished in 4th, with a score of 361.50.
