Cheyenne, Wyo.- The Golden Eagles volleyball team hosted Otero Junior College on Tuesday night and fell 3-1 (25-27, 18-25, 25-16, 22-25). LCCC (4-3) has now lost three games in a row.

“We got started flat, we stayed flat for too long and Otero played a really strong match. Our coaching staff needs to be more consistent with our expectations in practices and this one falls on us. We’ll regroup and go forward from here," said Austin Albers, LCCC's head coach.

Sophomore Elizabeth Clark led the team with 16 kills and made 5 blocks.

Sophomore Avery Nelson added 14 kills of her own, while her teammate Gracyn Voggesser had a team high 11 digs.

The Golden Eagles will take part in the Lee College Tournament and face Polk State College to kick off the tournament on Friday.
