CHEYENNE, Wyo.- Last year, the Bison finished in sixth place with 78 points. Wrestlers from South say the practices are more intense, leading up to regionals.
"First few days are a lot more intense," senior wrestler Tyler Wilken said.
Coach Ojeda believes mental strength can give his wrestlers a sense of urgency.
"I just get in the wrestlers [South's wrestlers] heads and tell them this is what they're up against," Ojeda said. "Kids that they beat that they're going to be seeded over this weekend, are going to be working because they don't want to lose again."
The regional wrestling meet will take place, this weekend, at Thunder Basin High School.
