Laramie, Wyo. - Wyoming signed DeVonne Harris, a three-star recruit according to 247 Sports, during the Early Signing Period.
With Kevin Prosser and Carl Granderson out of the picture, the Cowboys hope that Harris can set the edge and intimidate quarterbacks as well as (or better than) the former veterans did.
"The most exceptional thing he does is come off the ball with speed and quickness," said Justin Mesa, Director of Recruiting at the University of Wyoming. "And so he is going to be our pass rusher."
"Quarterbacks are going to have to look out for this guy and find out where he is lining up and offensive coordinators are going to have to account for where this guy is at. He's a really good athlete," said Mesa.
