Wyoming takes on Washington State at War Memorial Stadium

Cheyenne, Wy- Nico Evans was one of the shinning stars for the Cowboys on Saturday night. He rushed for a career-high of 204 yards with two touchdowns. That is the most in a game by a Cowboy since Brian Hill, he went 289 against Nevada. However, defensively it was the fewest yards allowed by the Cowboys since 100 total offensive yards in the 2007 season opener against Virginia.

Wyoming will have their first home game on Saturday against a different team, a nationally recognized one at that. The cowboys will go helmet to helmet with a tough Washington State team on Saturday.

Washington States offense is a lot more wide open. Head Coach Mike Leach will be bringing their A game in Laramie. The Cougars have a dangerous offense and a lethal defense. However Head Coach Craig Bohl says we are a great team too.

"We got to get prepared to see what they do. I do know this, they have really good players with really good coaches. But I think that we have really good players and really good coaches too and so from that stand point stay tuned its going to be a heck of a ball game."
