CHEYENNE, WY - The Friends of the NRA, a non-profit and non-political arm of the NRA is hosting a fundraising banquet in Cheyenne this March.

100% of the money goes back into the shooting sports in the form of grants for things such as gun ranges that need improvements, Hunter safety programs, 4H Clubs and Wyoming State University Shooting Program. Last year, Wyoming Friends of the NRA raised $990,000; $495,000 stayed in the state of Wyoming and $495,000 went to the national level.

Anyone or any business that has a shooting or gun safety program can apply for this money in the form of grant application.

The Friends of the NRA’s yearly banquet will be held March 14th this year at the Little America Hotel from 5:30pm until around 10:30pm. There will be a live auction, live DJ personality, 13 games going on and a wall of guns raffle. The items for auction or prizes include much more than guns; safes, art work, knives, toys, atv, autographed guitar, furniture, jewelry, etc...
